During a hike in beautiful Valemount in 2009, we discovered the Swiss Bakery sign and had to check it out. The previous owner baked a few items and wanted to retire and move away. This gave us, Bogdan Wasaznik, a master baker and me Silvia Jungo (the "Swiss") the opportunity and start our own business July 1st 2010. 9 months a year, the bakery is operated by 2 people only. We always wanted something small, manageable by 2 people. In the summer months, tourist season, we have staff members helping out. Come see us.
